The Beauty of Summer
Morning breath of summers air,
Catch the pitch of hummings’ song
Dew still moist from evenings fare,
Raise in prayer the days belong-
Listen you’ll hear the songs of June
Whispers from spirits within the trees
They capture amidst a fine milled tune
A work of art one seldom sees
A refreshing mist from July’s tears
Helps chill the fever of raging sun
And quench the thirst of leaves it sears
When the heat of day has just begun
But over the climax it starts to break
We gather round and sing rejoice
And dance to careless good times
Till we hear the laughter of goodnights voice ~
